Vanco International has announced the acquisition of Beale Street Audio and its range of architectural speakers.
The AV distribution and electronic accessory specialist will now be responsible for the manufacturer’s line of Sonic Vortex-powered architectural speakers, effective immediately.
Beale Street’s residential offerings incorporate a 4-in, 6.5-in and 8-in in-ceiling models, 4-in and 6.5 in-wall models, angled in-ceiling and dual voice coil models and 6.5-in and 8-in in-ceiling subwoofers.
“Over the past few years, Vanco International has been expanding its line of audio and video products to meet the growing demands from residential and commercial AV dealers. The company’s PulseAudio Bluetooth speaker and amplifier line became an immediate success with dealers last year, and Vanco was searching for additional complimentary products,” said Brad Corbin, president at Vanco International.
Mark Corbin, vice president of Distribution Markets at Vanco International, added: “Previously, Beale Street ran into supply challenges just as the product was gaining traction, receiving rave product reviews, and building distribution.”
“We saw the opportunity to offer dealers a product they loved, with a simplified sales model plus the strong distribution and support network that Vanco provides.”
Beale Street Audio has announced that its co-founder Jim Murray will be available for consulting with Vanco International.
Vanco will continue selling the speakers under the Beale Street name, but says it plans to bring “extensive” manufacturing, distribution, service, and support to the products. Beale Street Audio products will be ready to ship as of August 1, 2017; US distributors can contact Vanco directly for pricing. Pre-orders are available immediately.
Stay tuned for further updates on the distribution around the world as HiddenWires receives them.
Vanco will showcase its full brand line up – comprising of Evolution, PulseAudio and Beale Street Audio – next September at CEDIA at booth 3645.
