Kaleidescape has become a member of the 8K Association (8KA).
Seeking to push the boundaries of home entertainment, the American specialist in multi-room entertainment systems announces its membership with the not-for-profit 8K technology organisation.
The 8KA promotes industry awareness of the high-definition ecosystem, supported by distinguished consumer brands such as Samsung and Hisense.
Tayloe Stansbury, chairman and CEO of Kaleidescape, said: “Joining the 8KA positions Kaleidescape alongside other industry leaders, committed to fostering a collaborative environment, and dedicated to the advancement and standardisation of 8K technology.
“As consumers demand larger screens, higher-fidelity and increasingly immersive experiences, Kaleidescape’s involvement in the 8KA will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of premium home cinema.”
Kaleidescape is the only digital provider of movies with lossless audio and full reference video quality.
Movies delivered via the platform are high bitrate and downloaded to local storage for uninterrupted playback.
Juan Reyes, executive director of the 8KA, said the Association is thrilled to bring Kaleidescape on board for the next generation of consumer entertainment.
