Monitor Audio Group has celebrated the 40th anniversary of Roksan, its British audio brand specialising in turntables and hifi.
Founded in 1985 in London, Roksan gained immediate attention from specialist press after the launch of its challenger turntable Xerxes.
It came into Monitor Audio’s ownership in 2016 and has continued to push boundaries, more recently with the Caspian 4G integrated amplifier launched in 2024.
Michael Johnson, global marketing director, said: “For 40 years, Roksan has followed its own path, defined by distinctive design, thoughtful engineering and a clear point of view.
“Its personality is quietly unconventional, often expressed through unique forms and innovative ideas that continue to set it apart.”

To celebrate its anniversary, Roksan has produced a longform brochure.
At the heart of the campaign is a video, which brings the brand's journey to life through the voices of the people who have helped shape its sound.
Rob Barford, CEO of Monitor Audio Group, added: “We’ve strengthened the foundation of the brand by investing in a new production line, we’ve brought in more expertise in electronics, software and mechanical engineering and we’ve professionalised all the processes that ensure we can continue to deliver consistently strong Roksan products now and in the future while keeping everything that made Roksan special in tact.
“Caspian Series 4G is a perfect example - evolving with modern needs while honouring the spirit of the original design and best of all, we’ve brought production back to Essex in the UK.
“With the help of our dedicated team of technicians, we’re proud to be able to state that Caspian Series 4G models are hand built right here at MAG HQ – this level of craftsmanship still means such a lot to our customers around the world.”
