JVC has introduced its latest 4K HDR DLP projector: the LX-UH1, equipped with support for HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma.
After favouring the D-ILA technology in many of its models, JVC is turning to DLP for its newest offering.
In addition to meeting UHD 4K standards (3840 x 2160 resolution), the JVC LX-UH1 packs in HDR10 and HLG support, 2,000 lumens of brightness, two HDMI inputs (one with HDCP 2.2 compliance) and 100,000:1 ratio, making it a pretty high spec’d option for those looking for a reasonably priced projector for a mid-level home cinema.
Lens shift for the projector will be +/- 60% vertical and +/- 23% horizontal, accompanied by a 1.6x wide-zoom lens.
The JVC LX-UH1 is to be released next month, available in black or white models. It will be priced at £2,500 in the UK – a seriously affordable price point considering owning one would set you back over £20,000 not too long ago.
