WEJOY, a Chinese projector manufacturer, has launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for its 300” touchscreen projector.
Ideal for multiple uses including home cinema, outdoor projection, zoom calls, meetings and remote classrooms, the projector creates screens up to 300” and turns it into a giant iPad, allowing users to draw, write, or play games on the big screen using a battery powered interactive pen.
The LCD projection unit with LED light source produces a native 1080p display up to 130” diagonally on a wall or screen, with a throw ratio of 1.25:1. It can also decode 4K content. Throwing out 600 ANSI lumens, the projector would need to be used in dark or low ambient environments for a clear image.
The projector also features four-point keystone correction and electronic focus, as well as featuring HDMI 2.0 and USB connectivity, plus dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It also supports wireless screen casting.
It has built-in Android TV to enable users to watch movies and TV shows from apps such as YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, and many more.
WEJOY has used fully sealed optical engine technology to keep dust out of the projector to prevent black spots. It is also able to keep cool and not overheat without a noisy fan.
For audio, the projector features a built-in dual 5W speaker sound system, but also includes a headphone jack for private listening.
Currently a Kickstarter campaign, the projector is estimated to start shipping in November.
