Stewart Filmscreen has unveiled its new Luxus retractable screen system to the two-piece projection market, offering flexible install options for home cinemas.
For convenient placement, the Luxus screen can be installed on a wall or a ceiling with a new sliding mounting bracket that runs along both the top and back of the case for perfect wall or ceiling fit. The new Luxus is also ¾ of an inch slimmer in circumference, making the screen case more compact.
Bringing the bigger picture to home cinemas, the screen now scales up to 209-in diagonal in 16:9 format with a 12-in black drop.
The new Luxus screen also has end caps that come standard in black or white to match the screen case. There is also the option to choose hand-polished billet aluminium end caps to give it even more of a high-end look.
Given ample viewing options, Luxus can be paired with a variety of 16K+ Stewart screen materials, including the world’s reference materials: SnoMatte 100, StudioTek 100, StudioTek 130 G4, and UltraMatte 130.
Featuring Intelligent Motor Control (IMC) 100 controller, the screen can integrate with most leading AV control brands. The controller is a highly reliable multi-platform friendly solution that is fully hidden and integrated into the newly designed Luxus case. Access to the controller, motor, screen and tube is easily done with its new removable front bonnet.
