Q Acoustics introduces Q3000i speaker line

The follow-up to its much lauded Q3000 series, Q Acoustics has launched its Q3000i range – its most significant launch for 2018.

The newly developed 5-strong range arrives four years after the introduction of the 3000 range – spanning floorstanders, standmounters and a complete 5.1 cinema set-up), and features direct replacements of its predecessor.

In full, the Q3000i line comprises of the 3010i and 3020i standmounts, 3050i floorstanders, 3090i centre channel and Q 3060S subwoofer – the latter boasts the title of the being the slimmest of its kind made by the company to date, whilst the Q3010i and Q3020i have grown in size by 25%.

Each model features a 20mm soft dome tweeter decoupled from the baffle via a suspension system. The Q 3010i and Q 3090i features a 10cm mid/bass driver, with a 12.5cm in the Q3020i, 16.5cm in the Q3050i and 20cm in the Q3060S.

Notably the 3050i also packs in HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) technology which works to absorb energy and reduces resonance.

For sturdiness, the range incorporates P2P (point-to-point) cabinet bracing for added support, with the corners of the cabinets are internally braced too. All models are available in Graphite Grey, English Walnut, Carbon Black and Arctic White finished (for the same price), and come with magnetic cloth speaker grilles should an owner prefer the discreet look.

The Q3060S and 3090i will be available in two regular packages and a full set-up for those wanting to enjoy Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Q Acoustics’ Q3000i series will be released later this month ahead of its first public outing at the Munich High End Show next month.
