Samsung reveals 2022 line of Neo QLED TVs

Samsung Electronics has announced its Samsung Neo QLED 8K and 4K TV line up for this year, which will be available to pre-order from 16 March until 5 April.

Headed by the flagship QN900B, the new range comprises six series from 43” to 85” sizes.

The flagship QN900B 8K Neo QLED and QN800B 8K Neo QLED will be available in 65”, 75” and 85”. The QN700B 8K Neo QLED will be available in 55”, 65” and 75”. The QN95B 4K Neo QLED and QN85B 4K QLED will come in 55”, 65”, 75” and 85”. The QN90B 4K Neo QLED is available in 43”, 50”, 55”, 65”, 75” and 85”.

This year’s line up features a range of advancements compared to previous models. The Quantum Mini LED light source has been further enhanced by adding 14-bit HDR Mapping, which adds even more detail to dark and bright scenes. The Quantum Matrix Technology, which controls with intense precision Samsung’s proprietary Mini LEDs, is made even more accurate with Shape Adaptive Light control, allowing viewers to experience every moment in more detail.

The new Samsung Neo QLED TVs are equipped with multi-directional speakers and are supported by Dolby Atmos technology for the first time to deliver immersive and cinematic viewing experiences. Other stand-out features include its Object Tracking Sound (OTS) which directs the sound to move across the room with the action on-screen. Voice tracking also delivers more realistic human voices.

To add to the user experience, the Tizen interface has also been updated to provide greater facilitation and content discovery, including Samsung TV’s expanded channel line up, and a new level of personalisation and recommendations.

Adding to the smart home experience, users can connect the new TV range to a number of smart devices within their homes thanks to its built-in Smart Hub.

In addition, the Samsung Gaming Hub will give gamers a dedicated gaming interface for easier access and control. Along with Cloud gaming integration, fast response with low input lag, ultra-high refresh rates up to 4K@144Hz, and Motion Xcelerator technology will enhance motion clarity for a next-generation gaming experience.
