XGIMI expands portable Elfin Flip Series with 4K laser visuals and Harman Kardon audio

XGIMI has expanded its Elfin Flip Series with two new models, delivering what it calls a “full range” of portable home entertainment experiences from entry-level streaming to 4K laser projection.

The Elfin Flip Laser and Flip 4K build on the existing Flip Plus model, offering RGB Triple Laser technology and Harman Kardon-tuned sound while retaining the series’ book-sized form factor.

The Flip Plus acts as an entry point with 1080p resolution and 10,000:1 dynamic contrast, which jumps to 4K and 20,000:1 in the Flip 4K flagship.

Designed for multiroom use, the latter weighs 1.55kg and measures 9.64 inches wide; it features a 4K RGB Triple Laser engine delivering 1,600 ISO lumens of brightness and 110% BT.2020 colour coverage.

Furthermore, a 0.98–1.3:1 throw ratio offers optical zoom for precise screen sizing without repositioning the unit.

XGIMI says these specifications “rival those of dedicated home theatre installations”, with the model’s flip-to-start interaction complementing its proprietary Intelligent Screen Adapt (ISA) technology.

The company also claims the Flip 4K delivers console-level gaming performance with 1ms input lag at 1080p/120Hz, VRR, and ALLM support.

Both models include a 7W Harman Kardon speaker with Dolby Audio support to eliminate the need for external audio equipment.

Google TV provides access to Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu and other supported streaming apps.
