Bang & Olufsen combines vinyl and stereo on Beosystem 3000c

Bang & Olufsen has introduced a music system combining its historic turntable with recent stereo speakers.

The Beosystem 3000c revives the Beogram 3000 turntable from 1985 in a re-anodised aluminium unit with streaming capabilities.

It is the third release in the Danish manufacturer’s Recreated Classics series, intended to give a second life to iconic products.

Mads Kogsgaard Hansen, head of product circularity and portfolio planning at Bang & Olufsen, said: “We honour the cultural impact of vinyl listening while showcasing the long-lasting value of our products, even beyond their first lifecycle.

“The Beosystem 3000c invites our customers to rediscover their vinyl collections and enjoy the emotional richness of music as it was meant to be heard, while effortlessly integrating into how we listen today.”

Completing the system, the Beolab 8 stereo speakers house a dedicated microphone, neodymium motor and ultra-wideband technology – with Powerlink and Wireless Powerlink built in to connect to TVs and more.

Upgraded and future-proofed by Bang & Olufsen’s specialists in Struer, Denmark, the turntable retains its distinctive appearance with a walnut back cover and aluminium control panel.
