Elipson expands Horus range with active BT speakers

Elipson has added two new models to its Horus speaker line with the launch of the Horus Active BT series, bringing integrated amplification, expanded connectivity, and wireless streaming to the range.

The new active speakers - the compact Horus 6B Active BT and the floorstanding Horus 11F Active BT - combine 2 x 50 W RMS amplification with high-quality components including glass fibre reinforced cellulose pulp bass-mid drivers and silk dome tweeters powered by neodymium magnets. Both are built around a bass reflex system designed for natural and accurate sound reproduction.

Versatile connectivity

The Horus Active BT range introduces multiple input options aimed at broadening use cases beyond traditional hi-fi listening:

USB Audio (24-bit/96kHz) for direct connection to a computer without the need for an external DAC.

MM phono input, allowing turntables to connect without an external preamp.

HDMI ARC, enabling direct TV connection for improved sound over built-in speakers.

Optical and coaxial digital inputs (24-bit/192kHz).

Aux input for analogue sources.

Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD for high-quality wireless playback.
