Epson has introduced a new projector to its Pro Cinema range, catering for the cost restrictions and specialised installation needs confronting integrators.
The LS9000 4K HDR 3LCD Laser Projector offers a vibrant 8.29-million-pixel picture driven by Epson’s advanced video processing technology.
With seamless integration into dedicated home theatre environments, the unit supports a range of AV sources and screen types to connect with popular IP control systems like Control4, Crestron and via PJLink.
Melvin Diaz, senior product manager at Epson America, said: "Designed for custom integrators and home theatre enthusiasts, the Pro Cinema LS9000 delivers an elevated entertainment experience with cutting-edge performance and installation flexibility.
“Featuring 4K UHD resolution on screen and support for up to 4K content at 120 frames per second, the Pro Cinema LS9000 produces breathtaking detail, clarity and ultra-smooth gameplay – making it an outstanding choice for cinephiles and gamers alike.”
Powered by Epson’s advanced ZX Picture Processor, the Pro Cinema LS9000 enables real-time frame interpolation and detail picture enhancement.
It features a ‘virtually maintenance-free’ 20,000-hour laser light source with a vapour-cooled thermal transfer design to enable instant powering without the need to replace bulbs.
And with 2,200 lumens of both colour and white brightness, the picture quality is guaranteed to deliver in several environments.
Diaz continued: “A motorised lens system with powered zoom, focus and lens shift helps ensure precise, effortless installation.”
At $3999 the projector is available at a more affordable price point than its predecessor, the LS1200, to represent a breakthrough in both price and performance in the 4K projector category.
