Savant has announced an integration with Schlage Encode smart locks, extending its control platform to include direct management of residential access points.
The integration enables users to lock and unlock doors, view lock status and receive notifications directly within the Savant app. Integrators can also associate camera feeds with individual door locks, allowing homeowners to view entry points alongside access control functions.
The move brings Schlage’s WiFi-enabled deadbolts into Savant’s wider ecosystem, with support for voice control and inclusion within automated scenes. This allows door access to be linked with other system actions, such as lighting, security or AV presets, as part of a broader home automation workflow.
Functionality is delivered through Savant’s Door Lock Service, which provides centralised control and monitoring of connected locks. Users can configure push notifications for lock activity, while integrators can incorporate entry points into system-wide logic and user interfaces.
