Also taking place on Tuesday 10th November is CEDIA’s Residential Networking course. Providing a foundation for understanding IP, this session is suitable to both beginners and individuals looking to increase their IP networking knowledge. Attendees will leave the session with a better understanding of common network protocols, the functions of a consumer router in a wired environment and begin basic troubleshooting in a consumer level IP network.

Gira, a manufacturer of intelligent electrical installation technology and building system technology, is an official sponsor of the CEDIA event. On the first day, Gira will host a 90-minute session entitled "Gira, KNX and Building Technology".

CEDIA’s second day in Marbella will feature two more of its most popular training sessions. The Sub Systems Design and Integration course provides attendees with an in-depth look at the sub systems that make up a typical residential install. Understanding each systems components, communications and demarcation points will enable the students to design, install and programme jobs successfully to practical completion.

By attending the Audio, Video and Home Cinema For Installers session, installers will have an understanding of the most important technical information, basic design principles and the installation practices required for home cinema set ups. Combining theory and practical learning, the presenter will cover design and installation practices for highest fidelity, the basics of home cinema setup and calibration basics.

At the end of Tuesday’s training sessions, CEDIA will host a free Connect with CEDIA event for people in the industry to gain a better understanding of CEDIA and the benefits of membership as well as providing a forum for ideas and debate. The evening will provide a great networking opportunity for all attendees with your peers.

For CEDIA members, each course is priced at roughly €152, while for non-members, the cost is €215. These rates include a 10% Early Bird Discount, which is available until 31st October 2015 For more information on the event in Spain, please visit www.cedia.co.uk/events.
