ADI Global Distribution has used Lightapalooza 2026 to unveil new lighting, control and power additions to the Control4 ecosystem, positioning lighting as a core revenue category for dealers.
Headlining the North American launch were Vibrant Smart Bulbs and Recessed Trim Lights, scheduled to ship in Q3 2026. Designed to integrate natively in Control4, the fixtures eliminate the need for gateways, remote drivers or complex wiring calculations, offering what ADI describes as a more scalable route into dynamic lighting.
While announced at a US event, the strategy will be closely watched by EMEA integrators. Lighting remains a margin-senstive category across Europe, where installers often face a compromise between high-end specialist systems and lower-cost DIY solutions. A native, wireless-friendly Control4 offering could provide a middle ground, particularly for retrofits and markets where infrastructure disruption is critical.
ADI also introduced the T5 In-Wall Touchscreen at the event, featuring PoE connectivity and a slimmer design, alongside demonstrations of WattBox power management with enhanced remote monitoring via OvrC.
Confirmation of EMEA availability, compliance and compatibility will determine how quickly these developments translate into opportunities for regional residential integrators.
