Footballer Kylian Mbappé enters tech industry with stake in Loewe Technology

French footballer Kylian Mbappé has become a shareholder in German premium electronics brand Loewe Technology via Coalition Capital.

Founded in 1923, Loewe pioneers luxury home entertainment and aims to tap into younger markets as part of its relationship with Mbappé. Investment from the footballer is intended to accelerate Loewe’s growth in regions such as North America and Asia, as well as drum up support for tech accessibility initiatives.

Aslan Khabliev, CEO of Loewe Technology, said: “We are thrilled to have Kylian Mbappé join the Loewe family. His influence transcends sport, making him an ideal partner to help modernise our brand and engage a new generation of consumers.

“Together, we will combine our heritage in premium electronics with Kylian’s global appeal, driving exciting innovations that reflect both luxury and state-of-the-art technology.”

Mbappé commented: “I’ve always been passionate about technology and innovation. Loewe is a brand that represents dedication, determination, performance and authenticity — values that resonate deeply with me, both on and off the field.

“I’m excited to contribute to their next chapter and help the brand reach new heights, especially as it evolves to meet the demands of today’s consumers."
