Bowers & Wilkins to launch sub and speaker range at ISE 2018

Bowers & Wilkins has revealed that it will be introducing its newly developed subwoofer and 700 Series speaker range at its stand at ISE 2018 next month.

Bowers & Wilkins says it plans to showcase an “exceptional 800 Diamond Theatre experience” at ISE 2018 with a dedicated home cinema room built around a CI800 Series Diamond custom install speaker system.

The B&W Diamond Series loudspeakers incorporate cabinet design and proprietary driver technology – including Diamond Dome tweeters, Continuum mid-range cones and Aerofoil bass transducers.

New for ISE 2018 will be the manufacturer’s 700 Series of loudspeakers and its DB4S subwoofer joining other recently launched models from the DB Series – bringing the range to four subwoofers in total.

The 700 Series features the same ultra-transparent Continuum midrange cone technology as the 800 Series Diamond, in addition to bespoke Aerofoil profile bass drivers. The range also features a dedicated Carbon Dome tweeter with a cleaner high frequency performance.

The company’s recently launched and highly acclaimed twin driver DB1D, DB2D and DB3D active models will be joined at ISE 2018 by the single driver DB4S subwoofer, debuting at the show. The DB4S incorporates a single 250mm (10-in) Aerofoil bass cone, a 1000W amplifier, a digital preamplifier with Dynamic EQ App-based set-up and BT-LE control within closed box. It is designed to partner a 700-Series-based home cinema or 2.1 music system from B&W.

B&W will also highlight other products from its custom install line, including its Cinema 7, CI700 and dedicated marine ranges.

B&W can be found at stand Hall 10 stand K-130 at ISE. This year’s show takes place at the RAI in Amsterdam and runs from 6 to 9 February, 2018. Its stand will also showcase the latest range of hi fi separates from Rotel Electronics.

Cinema demonstrations are available by appointment only at the event.
