Dirac Live Bass Control comes to NAD BluOS amplifiers

NAD Electronics has confirmed that Dirac Live Bass Control is coming to select BluOS-enabled amplifiers, bringing enhanced subwoofer integration and room optimisation.

Available with BluOS version 4.16.6, the technology extends to NAD’s newest generation of premium streaming amplifiers including the M33 V2, M10 V3, and C 658 BluOS Streaming DAC.

Support for the technology also covers previous generations of the M33 and M10.

Rikard Hellerfelt, VP and head of consumer electronics at Dirac, said: "Traditionally, configuring subwoofers for optimal performance has been complex and often imprecise.

“Our advanced bass control technology co-optimises subwoofers and speakers, creating a seamless blend at the crossover point.”

Dirac Live Bass Control works alongside the brand’s Room Correction to analyse both frequency and timing behaviour.

Powered by advanced AI and machine learning, the technology calibrates one or multiple subwoofers to improve bass integration, phase alignment, transient response and seat-to-seat consistency.
