Loewe announces new bild i model TV

German TV manufacturer, Loewe has returned to the market with a range of new products including the bild i television, as well as a selection of audio solutions to accompany the TV, including two soundbars, the klang bar i and klang bar 5, and the klang sub 5 subwoofer.

The company officially announced its return to the market last month after going bankrupt and then being brought out by Skytec Group. With its return, Loewe has presented a roadmap of new products coming to market.

The bild (German for ‘screen’) i TV is available in three sizes: 48”, 55”, and 65”, and features a 4K OLED panel which works in combination with the Loewe SL7 chassis and new Loewe os7 software. The inclusion of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos provide a high-quality viewing and sound performance to the viewer.

Its newly developed chassis offers high performance, while the VIDAA operating system enables fast access to integrated streaming services such as Netflix or Prime Video, alongside regional catch-up services through Freeview Play. There is also a 1TB hard drive to record favourite shows on and store in one place.

The OLED technology recreate high colour range against a deep black background, making colours appear bright and vibrant. The display is paired with Loewe’s hidden, rear-facing ‘invisible speaker’ to avoid disrupting the clean lines and visual striking appearance.

All Loewe TVs come with its unique Mimi Defined personalised sound technology, developed in conjunction with Mimi Hearing Technologies. Mimi Defined draws on millions of user’s worth of data to determine a tailored sound experience based on age, or by inviting the user to take an individual hearing test via Mimi’s in-app platform for a truly bespoke audio performance.

Alongside the bild i TV, Loewe is also launching a series of audio products to compliment, starting with two soundbars – the klang bar i and klang bar 5.

The klang bar i features eight powerful drivers and 80 watts of total music power, ensuring stereo sound production from the front of the TV. It discreetly blends in with the underside and rear panel of the bild i by sitting neatly underneath it, enhancing the sophisticated appearance of the TV without compromising the design. The klang bar i has been designed solely to be used with the bild i model.

The klang bar 5 comes as part of a set along with the sub 5 subwoofer, which together enable clear, powerful 3D sound. The klang bar 5 has a total music output of 440 watts thanks to two up-firing and two side-firing speakers which, when paired with the klang sub 5’s additional 360 watts, guarantees a powerful 800 watts of sound that fills the room and creates an immersive home cinema experience.

The klang bar 5 also benefits from three HDMI ports with 4K pass-through to provide a stable connection to UHD Players, set top boxes and game consoles, while HDMI eARC/CEC allows control via the central TV remote.

The klang sub 5 is also vibration-free due to the arrangement of the speaker driver and passive radiators, while two active speakers and four passive radiators provide powerful low tones.

The two devices can be paired with any TV, and thanks to their extensive wireless capabilities, all streaming services are supported alongside the likes of Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2, as well as being able to connect to Loewe’s external selection of Bluetooth audio solutions.

The bild i TV is available in Basalt Grey with wall, floor and floor to ceiling stands available with prices starting at £2,699. The klang bar i is priced at £299, while the klang bar 5 and klang sub 5 pair are available for £1,359.
