Samsung new lifestyle TV available now

Samsung has officially launched its new lifestyle TV range, the 2019 Frame and Serif TVs.

Different to Samsung’s traditional TVs, this year’s lifestyle models are designed to fit in with any home décor while still featuring QLED technology for an immersive TV viewing experience.

Developed in collaboration with Paris-based design brother, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, two of the world’s most famous furniture designers, the award-winning Serif TV is back with improved picture quality using Samsung’s QLED technology.

When used as a TV, The Serif delivers deep contrasts, dark blacks and 100 per cent colour volume, providing over a billion shades of colour for the best possible viewing experience. Samsung’s updated Ambient Mode also provides information such as news headlines and weather updates, as well as displaying imagery to blend into interior décor when the TV is switched off.

The other TV now available in the new range is the 2019 Frame TV. Going beyond the traditional concept of a TV, The Frame is the first TV from Samsung that really concentrates on the home environment. Homeowners can use it as a feature in their home while still having a Samsung quality TV.

When not in use, the TV can use The Frame’s Art Mode feature to display personal pictures or choose from more than 1,000 pieces of art from prestigious artists around the world from the Art Store.

The TV itself provides QLED technology, delivering the same improved picture quality and colour range as The Serif. However, the 2019 Frame also features a new Smart Hub and Samsung smart TV platform, giving homeowners access to the widest collection of 4K streaming and catch-up TV apps.

Prices for The Serif TV start at £1,199.99 and is available in white at three sizes: 43-, 59-, and 55-in. The Frame TV starts at £1299.99 and sizes range between 43-in to 65-in.
