Swiss manufacturer, s: stebler and Bird Home Automation from Berlin have entered a strategic collaboration to create a combined product solution for future homes.
The two companies have come together to offer a customised IP mailbox system for use in single-family home, multi-tenant, and apartment buildings.
Bird Home Automation’s DoorBird IP video door intercoms can now be integrated into the mailbox systems according to user’s requirements. Its open API allows the smart door intercom to be configured remotely and integrate into existing home automation systems.
Residents can access the system through the app and via the IP indoor station to see and speak to whoever is at the front door before granting them access.
