Scotland-based hi-fi company Tannoy will take its Prestige and Super Gold Monitor series loudspeakers to The UK Hi-Fi Show Live in Ascot this month, demonstrating the classic Kensington GR floorstander.
Models from the recently introduced Super Gold Monitor series, the SGM 10 and SGM 12, will be exhibited alongside Tannoy’s entry-level dual concentric model, the Autograph Mini, and the Turnberry GR floorstander in room 427/428 (Symphony/Connected Fidelity).
Tannoy’s 93db-efficient two-way Kensington GR benefits from a 10” dual concentric driver with pepperpot waveguide tweeter, contained in a slender oiled walnut finish birch ply cabinet that belies its 41kg weight.
The Turnberry GR is a Tannoy classic, showcasing 10” 93d-efficient dual concentric drive unit, broad dimensions and affordability.
The loudspeakers will be driven by amplification from Zeiler Audio and source components from Connected Fidelity.
Operational since 1926 and known for its invention of the dual concentric driver, Tannoy will be represented by UK agent and demo host Symphony Distribution.
