Optoma is holding a Tech Day where AV professionals are invited to see hands-on demonstrations of the new LED display solutions, professional and consumer 4K UHD projectors and interactive flat panel displays.
The Tech Day, which is taking place on May 9 from 9:00am-12:30pm, will give attendees the opportunity to see the QUAD FHD130 LED display which pioneers a unique four-in-one Surface Mount Diode layout and comes pre-calibrated for quick and easy installation.
In addition to this, the Optoma team will also demonstrate the five metre wide 2.6mm pixel pitch bespoke resolution (1920x864) LED display, the four metre wide 2mm pixel pitch full HD LED display, and the three metre wide 1.5mm pixel pitch full HD LED display.
The Tech Day, which taking place at Optoma’s headquarters near Hemel Hempstead, will feature the new multi-touch interactive flat panels. The 4K UHD resolution displays come in 65-in, 75-in and 86-in and were recently awarded low blue light certification from TÜV Rheinland.
Among the projection demos, Optoma will feature a shootout of its new 4K UHD interchangeable lens laser projectors. This will see the ZK750 (7,000 lumen) go against the ZK1050 (10,000 lumen) in addition to two ZH420UST ultra short throw laser projectors blended using the integrated warping and blending engine.
This Tech Day will feature a racing simulator, a big highlight for many installers from the last tech morning. This time, visitors will race around the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit and fastest driver will win a pair of BE Free5 earphones.
Nick Price, sales director at Optoma EMEA said: “The event will enable AV professionals to get hands-on with the new tech whether that is the LED displays, projectors or our new interactive flat panel displays. Optoma is no longer just a projection company – we are in the business of big imagery. This event allows our customers to see, and try, this wider range of display solutions that we can now deliver to suit all situations and environments.”
