Trinnov unveils AltitudeCI Audio-over-IP processor for ‘more projects than ever before’

Trinnov has announced the launch of a fully networked Audio-over-IP (AoIP) processor designed for the custom integration market.

Positioned as the first processor in its class to natively support both Dante and Ravenna/AES67, the AltitudeCI supports high-end media rooms as well as DCI-grade private cinemas.

Arnaud Laborie, co-founder and CEO of Trinnov Audio, said: “AltitudeCI makes Trinnov performance available to more projects than ever before.

“This is the one platform integrators can rely on for every immersive audio project, regardless of scale, infrastructure or performance demands.”

Built for installers

The processor bridges consumer and professional infrastructures, using AES67 for Dolby Atmos and DCI server integration while routing outputs via Dante.

It incorporates Trinnov’s acoustic technologies, including Optimizer 3D, WaveForming and immersive format Remapping, processed on a 64-bit software platform suited to future expansion.

Configurations range from eight to 32 channels, with a custom 64-channel version expected in 2026.

Upgrades can be activated remotely, and a new modular licensing model allows integrators to scale channel counts in two-channel increments.

Maximum efficiency

The 2RU chassis offers HDMI (four in/two out), eight analogue outputs and three configurable Ethernet ports – two with SFP cages for robust network setups.

A redesigned Altitude interface introduces guided calibration while retaining expert controls.

To complete its AoIP ecosystem, Trinnov has also introduced an optional Dante input board for its Amplitude16 amplifier, creating an end-to-end digital signal chain.

The AltitudeCI will debut at CEDIA Expo 2025 in Denver, September 4–6 with live demos, partner consultations and a free training session on September 3.
