CEDIA Expo 2019 has announced that registration is now open for people who would like to attend.
The Conference and Expo, which takes place September 10-14, 2019 at the Colorado Convention Centre in Denver, is aimed at the custom install market looking at integrated residential technology, design and construction.
Last year, the show saw 20,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors, making it a big show for the residential custom technology industry.
CEDIA Expo 2019 Programmes
The five-day event will expand on new features that debuted in 2019, as well as adding new programmes and partnerships to the show.
Making a return at the 2019 edition will be TechTalks and TechBites. Both taking place on the CEDIA Expo SmartStage, TechTalks will see a range of panel discussions, programmed by CEPro. TechBites will take place on day one of the show and offers 10 brands the opportunity to debut their newest products and innovations in a “speed dating” format, giving each brand three minutes to share their stories, with two minutes of Q&A to finish.
There will be two technology integrator-led tours on day one and day two of the show. The Design Connection Tours will visit Expo exhibitors for design and construction professionals.
Bourbon, Bubbly & Brownies, a networking event, will be hoisted on the show floor for integrators, design professionals, media and sponsoring exhibitors.
There will also be a Design + Connection Pavilion located on the show floor. This will be led by two design associations: the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). There will be a lounge area for conversations, and consultations will be surrounded by design and construction brands and products offering technology integration capabilities.
The Innovation Alley and TechStarter area of the show will be designated to new products and companies and gives them an opportunity to tell their stories. Companies that have been in business for under three years and have never exhibited at CEDIA Expo or at the CEDIA Expo Innovation Alley is eligible to apply for this area.
CEDIA will continue their education initiatives at CEDIA Expo 2019 through CEDIA Talks and Conferences. More than 130 courses will be on offer, with almost half of them being brand new and more advanced than ever before. CEDIA Talks will be 20-minute educational sessions, open to all Expo attendees and will be held in the CEDIA booth (1301). Education conferences will take place from September 10.
Finally, this year’s keynote will be given by Luke Williams. He is the professor of marketing at the NYU Stern School of Business, founder and executive director of the W.R. Berkley Innovation Labs, and a Fellow at Frog Design. He is also the inventor of over 30 US patents and has designed more than 100 products in a range of industries.
The CEDIA Expo 2019 Opening Keynote is free for attendees and will take place on September 11 at 5:30pm at the Colorado Convention Centre.
Registration for the show is now open. CEDIA members will receive free access and non-CEDIA members can get discounted prices for show floor and training passes fi they register before May 11. Early bird registration will continue through May and June.
