Theory Audio Design has added to its CI solutions with the ic6 high-output in-ceiling loudspeakers, pendant housings and pre-construction brackets.
Ideal for both residential and commercial installations, Theory’s product ecosystem is unique in that it offers many of the advantages of professional audio products but with the sonic delicacy, details and resolution of high-end hi-fi loudspeakers.
Pendant housings
As Theory’s first in-ceiling loudspeakers, the ic6 provides installation flexibility and is a discreet and highly capable solution ideal for residential, commercial, surround sound or distributed audio, and even outdoors when paired with Theory’s optional all-weather grille.
The ic6 can also be installed in open-ceiling and exposed environments when integrated into one of Theory’s pendant housings. Designed to seamlessly blend into any décor, Theory’s pendant housings are available in paintable matte white or matte black (available with matching black grille) and gloss black which will be available soon.
Pre-construction brackets
Thanks to its advanced polymer compression drivers and 6” carbon fibre woofer, the ic6 in-ceiling loudspeakers offer a maximum output of 112dB. For large, distributed installs, the ic6 includes a switch-selectable 70V/110V transformer that be driven direct by Theory’s forthcoming DLC-250.4 4-channel loudspeaker controllers.
