Home Theatre Environment (HTE) has announced it has appointed well-known industry name, Peter Aylett to its growing family.
Aylett will be bringing 30 years of experience to the Italian acoustic design company.
“I am very proud to have Peter entering the HTE family,” commented Maurizio Conti, the founder and president of the company. “I am sure that his expertise in our market will lead HTE to grow organically over the world, making HTE a global brand, well recognised for clever interior acoustical solutions, not only in the entertainment market as we are going to explore more and diversified applications of acoustic technology.
“His internationally recognised skills and knowledge, linked with his natural ability to teach and lead courses and training sessions will define our sales training process,” he continued. “I am sure our joined forces will lead HTE to be a global one-stop solution provider for lots of professionals around the world.”
Aylett added: “I am thrilled to be joining Maurizio at HTE to help the company take the next steps in expanding to become a globally recognised leader in the design and construction of room interiors that combine amazing Italian design with the world’s finest acoustics.
“I’m looking forward to helping integrators deliver both amazing rooms as well as make money from the room fit out – a profit centre that all too often gets left on the table for an external contractor to deliver.
“I’ve known Maurizio for 20 years and have been following HTE’s development since it started in 2005. I can’t wait to start telling the industry about the amazing potential of working with HTE on high performance AV spaces,” he concluded.
Aylett will continue his deep involvement with Archimedia and GR Media Solutions, as well as taking on select consultancy projects for other companies.
He currently serves on CEDIA’s Global Board of Directors and regularly teaches for CEDIA at events across the world.
